At the start of the year, many of us sprint into January with resolutions and renewed determination. I began 2026 with one focus: Clarity. I anticipated sharp vision, confident direction, and a clear map for where God was leading.
But Clarity didn’t meet me in motion—it met me in stillness. It asked for patience. It demanded listening. It pulled me into deeper prayer and quiet obedience. Those months from January to July stretched me, refined me, and transformed me in ways I didn’t expect.
And now August is here—not loud, not rushed, but with a gentle invitation to reflect, and breathe, and look at the transformation.

Today, I want to celebrate the journey so far and lay out the steps that I am embracing to continue moving forward with absolute clarity.
Honoring the First Half of the Journey
Before we look at where we are going, we must look at where we have been. It is easy to overlook our own growth because we are always looking ahead.
Take a moment to reflect on the last six months:
Celebrate the Quiet Wins: Did you protect your peace when chaos knocked? Did you choose to extend grace to yourself when a plan fell through? Did you practice stillness in the middle of a hectic week? These are the foundational victories that build lasting transformation.

Acknowledge the Transitions: Did you navigate unexpected shifts this year—in our careers, our families, or our personal lives. Transition is rarely comfortable, but it is always refining. If you face challenges remember that you are still here, standing in your strength.
Release the Rebounds: If the first half of the year didn't go exactly as planned, let go of the regret. Every day is a clean page, and mid-year is simply a beautiful milestone to begin again.
